on the slippery slop to disaster

I have gained 16 pounds this winter, I have been so lazy and the grazing at night never seems to end.
I just can't seem to get satisfied. Any long time veterans have any helpful hints. My weakness is chips, and cookies
The ultimate desire is not to have them in the house but I have a husband who packs his own lunch and thats what he desires
