Arm lift and lower body lift

Hello All!

Well I got a consult for an arm lift and it wasn't as much as I thought it was going to be. For the Atlanta area, my plastic surgeon quoted me $7,200, which includes his fee, hospital facility and anesthesiologist. My hubs doesn't think my arms look that bad and thinks I should get the lower body lift first as my stomach and thighs really bother me and I don't know how much more weight I am going to be able to lose or tighten up.

Has anyone else looked into lower body lifts? I know all regions will be different, but what's a ball park price? I was self pay for the sleeve and still paying off that surgery. Not sure I want to take another loan out to pay for the lower body lift, but I really want to do it later this year when I hit my 18 months post op. Thanks!

Hi Stacey..thanks for the info. I'm going this Wednesday for a consult for arms and lower body lift. I'm in the Chicago-area but I'll let you knwo what I find out. I have another consult the following Wednesday too. I like to do research and get second opinions. I am 3 yrs post-op and my arms are so bothersome to me and well, the lower half of me can really use a lift and a reduction of all the excess. I'll keep you posted.

I went for the arm lift consult and lower body lift consult. One surgeon quoted me a price of 7600.00 for the arm lift and 9998.00 for lower body lift including all fees and anesthesia. I went today for another consult and he quoted me 6499.00 for the arm lift. Both surgeons are outpatient facilities/procedures. The second one is calling me back later today with the lower body lift price. Doesn't matter, the doctor and staff I saw today were so much more professional and caring than the one I saw 2 weeks ago. I 'clicked' with the Dr today. He listened to me and understood what I was hoping for and took the time to explain things and asked me lots of questions.

Omg that is awesome! I go on May 17th for a lower body consult and I'm so anxious to see what the pricing is going to be for me. How soon do you think you will schedule your surgery?

Have you checked out Mexico for the lifts? Wonder how much cheaper they are ?

My hubs would not allow me to go out of country to have that kind of work done. He is/was a nervous wreck with me having the sleeve done in the States. I wouldn't even ask if going to Mexico is an option :)

I know it is much cheaper than the US. My surgeon recommend Dr Carlos Estrada in Monterrey, Mexico if I get to that point. Personally I would trust his judgment with that. But I am just 3 weeks in so I have a long time before I have that as a major concern. Good luck or buena suerte as they say in Mexico.

I just got back from seeing my plastic surgeon and I have my surgery scheduled for November 16th - OMG!!! So we talked about doing the 360 body lift, but my surgeon doesn't like to do a tummy tuck and then the lift in the back because he's worried about the complications with the incision all the around the body, so with that said, I am getting a tummy tuck with liposuction and thigh lift. His fees, which include the garments that I will need after surgery, anesthesia, and 1 nights hospital stay was quoted at $16K. I don't know how I will be able to wait 6 freaking months! But at least it's scheduled and I can work on getting these last few stubborn pounds off. Holy crap!

First of all, I thought that your husband can't tell you how you feel, because it's you. You must do what's better for you, I think. I know what it's like to doubt yourself just looking in the mirror. Hope you feel better and wish you more love.
Regarding prices, I agree that they vary greatly, can you tell me how much they calculated for you? I'm currently consulting with Dr. Angelina Postoev. So far, everything is wonderful and very polite, which is a big rarity because in the previous clinic there wasn't half of such an attitude.
