Hello all,
I've struggled with my weight like most for a while now. A few years ago I was going to have weight loss surgery but was talked out of if. Well, I recently met a very open young lady who had the same surgery I am preparing to have. She shared with me very personal things and even the fact that she too was talked out of having the procedure. Long story short, I'm doing what I feel is best for me at this point. I truly believe that GOD sent her my way!

Thanks for listening ~ March 23 is fast approaching and I'm a bit nervous, but at the same time, I don't question God and I strongly believe that now is my time... pray for me as I will always pray for everyone's happiness...

Your going to be so happy with your decision! There always seems to be someone who tries to talk us out of doing it, in my case it was someone who never struggled with their weight. I am 2 mo out and I already feel amazing and I thank God everyday for this new chapter of my life. If you have any questions this is the perfect place to ask.

The fact that you are listening and trusting God is going to bring you great success with your surgery. This is a wonderful forum to answer all your questions and to find some great support. Most folks don't understand the surgery and they are scared for us. My mom still thinks I messed up by having the surgery. I do not regret anything about my surgery except I wish I would have measured my food after my stomach healed. It can and will stretch so don't ever eat more...stay with the tiny portions. I gained about half of my weight back and now I struggle. Prayers are very much appreciated :-) Blessings to you!
