Welcome to the forum! I am new myself & have only just scheduled my surgery so I don't have much to offer. I am sure you will get great advice here as these wonderful people are very kind and helpful. Take care & good luck on your journey

Reading posts really helped me be comfortable with the decision, and everyone has propped me up magnificently when I am discouraged, or feel just tired or want to vent....

It's the best decision I've made in many years.

Welcome! There is a great deal of information, support, honesty, and kindness on the forum so you are in the right place! I have learned SO much here. I began my process the end of January and my surgery is scheduled for this Tuesday. I agree with the folks above use the search function so you can search specific topics. I just began signing on daily and reading all of the posts. You pick up tips just from reading what others are going through. And please don't be shy about asking questions on the site.
