    Saturday's meeting was about exercise. Woohoo!! I can't even think of exercise with all the struggles I am having getting even remotely enough protein in. For some reason, I can not handle the the protein drinks, even the Isopure. I have been eating some cottage cheese and some low fat cream of chicken soups that have a little protein. I guess some is better than none. I also have questioned my choice in doing the sleeve sometimes, however, can't go back now. I just hope and pray it will all get better in time and that when I go see Dr. LaMasters, she might be able to have encouraging words for me!!!!

    Well...I went home Sunday....friday was my worst night. It was also my choice to stay an extra night. Was not impressed with Dr. Eibes. He did not have much bedside manner. My IV infiltrated....so they took out, only to wait to put one in for eight hours and that was the only way to get pain meds. I questioned myself on this too...however....in time....I believe will all work out. Keep your head up .... we can do this, because we are strong!!!! Skinny is just a hop, skip, and a jump away. I will call ya....will sit with ya if ya come to support group!!!!

    I am sorry I didnt' get to chat with you prior to surgery....but how are you doing? I finally got home yesterday....I was nervous about it and still am....feeling better than I did though. Were you the gal behind me when we had to do the upper gi?? I wanted to say hi....but didnt want to infringe on any privacy!!!! I hope I did the right thing and did this surgery...each day gets a bit better!!!! Pfab....we are gonna be two good lookin surgery recoveries.....I know we did the right thing!!!! I hope to be at the support group January 5th. In the mean time....if you every want to call me.....name is Kim and my number is 954-5627. Never hesitate to drop me a line!!!!

I have never done a blog before but figured I would give this a go. I had surgery on 12-27-12. My highest weight was 291 (2x - before my lap band and before my sleeve). Today, 2 weeks post op I am at 268 pounds, so it is coming down. I wish that I was like the others that have a strong support system outside of the forum, I definitely don't have. My marriage was in shambles before surgery, still is in shambles today. Probably worse now because I am taking control of my life, from my very controlling
