  1. Had my three week check up with my surgeon, he said I am doing fine but.....I have gained 5 lbs. (I lost 21 lbs the first week). I am following the diet so I don't understand. This always happens to me when I try to lose weight, I lose then gain it back right away. Just hope I didn't go through all of this for so little weight lose. He cleared me to drive and exercise so I am going to join a gym this week, maybe that will help. Or maybe I am just meant to be 300 lbs forever.
  2. I had my one week visit with the dietician, I lost 21 lbs this first week! It was hard but I am slowly starting feel better.
  3. So ready, glad you are doing well, I need both of my knees replaced so walking is for essential needs only!LOL. Maybe I would feel better if I walked more. Today I was really lightheaded until about 1pm, my bp was down so I didn't take that pill, hopefully I won't need it again. Also, went to the grocery store with hubby and it really helped to get out of the house. But, still having gas n pain when I "eat". Hopefully it will go away soon. Glad you are doing well! Have you stepped on a scale yet?
  4. i am doing great really i get tired some but I feel hungry all the time. I feel I need more of a filler food or thicker type of soup to make me feel full longer. I will be asking my dr come friday when I get stitches out. maybe i am doing something wrong.
I only take pain meds at night i am fine all day and the only reason i take them then is so i can sleep better sometimes I feel little pain turning onto my side from stitches. I hope you do better keep me posted. I walk alot and keep moving that is what has helped me with muscles pain and gas for me.
  5. I had my surgery on 9/20. It was difficult, I had problems with pain meds. IV Morphine made me so sick, so I went 12 hours without pain meds. I was miserable. After my swallow test I finally got liquid Vicodin and I felt 100% better. Came home on 9/21 and took a great nap in my bed.

Now I feel like all my muscles hurt, especially my stomach. I never realized how often we use our abdominal muscles. So just muscle and gas pain. Hopefully I will have less pain every day.
