hey so nice of you to respond, yeah from all I've seen on the internet there seems to be many different approaches both pre and post op. I have been on the equiv. of your next phase since 1day post surg. not bad but starting to get old oat meal cold--thats how long it takes me to eat the whole pkg is really not very appetizing but the end result in months to 1yr is what were after, right! i started to drive about day 5 post op i was feeling good and never thought to question if I could oops! arn't naps the bomb I'm just loving those lie downs....I hear you on the tired/energy level but it is getting better and its so nice seeing the scale move in the opposite direction for a change hugs

I think my surgeon does sl differently, everyone's surgeon is different. I did not have drain and I have to have 1500mls per day of water, and on clear fluids for one week, then as of tomorrow I can add custard, yogurt, soups tuna all watered down so not so thick. I am very lucky and have not had much pain and I have been able to drink, only issues are if I gulp too much at one time it hurts and I feel sick in the mornings, I have to train myself to sip sip sip again. I do get very tired by afternoon and need a nanna nap. I am seeing my surgeon on Friday. Do you know when we can drive?
