First of all I am 64 years old. Had my surgery on August 15, 2012. My weight was 344 lbs. Started the group today January 27, 2013. Stepped on the scales today and I weigh 244. One hundred pounds gone and another one hundred to go.
To me the gastric sleeve has been a great success. However, I must say I did have my problems. It was eight weeks after surgery before I was active and had my strenght back. Now I go to our local YMCA and work out every day.
