Its working but you are just luck that you are not having a problem with the fluids. You are hungry because you haven't eaten in a long time. Once you start on pureed foods your tummy will be happier and you will not be getting hungry nearly as much. Hopefully then you wont be hungry at all, but even if you are it will only take a few bites to make the hunger go away. I am almost 3 months out and very seldom hungry but still have some cravings which are easier to ignore now. My favorite snack is pretzels and once I would start eating them I could not stop until the bag was empty. I still thank about them but I haven't had one in 4 months and I may have to break down and get a very small bag soon. I just don't want to get back into the habit. You will be fine. Just tough it out until the doctor says you can have food.

Highest weight 440 lbs. lowest weight 9.5 lbs at birth
    Date of surgery weight 340
    12 week checkup 301 BMI <50 yeah!
Weight on birthday 3/24/48 Goal 285 would be nice.

Thank you, Marilyn, any recommendations on good puréed foods? Just one week to go!

I found that some tuna or canned chicken pureed with some light mayo and seasonings filled me up... for a long time!

    So did cream of wheat.
